dart joke

A man goes into a strange pub and starts chatting to some of the local darts players when they ask him if he wants a game. He says "I have never played a game of darts before but I will give it a go if you tell me what to do."

After playing for about an hour he has not lost a single game and has hit some fantastic shots. One of the players says to him "I thought you had never played before?"

The man replies "No I haven't, but there are a lot of flies in my flat and I have got some old darts which I throw at them and pin them to the wall."

"No wonder you are so good then if you can do that. But doesn't it make a mess on the wall?"

"Not really" replies the man "Because I only pin them by their back legs."

- Dart board
- 3 Dart arrows
- an even amount of people from 4-8 (2 groups of 2,3 or 4 people; for example a boys and a girls group)
- drinks...


This is a Darts game that's a lot of fun to play with two small groups of people (2x2, 2x3 or 2x4) don't minding getting a little drunk and as naughty as they want.

A dart is thrown at the dart board as initial dart.

One of the groups starts. Every turn you throw two darts, the last dart thrown stays in the board (so you play with three darts).
Try to throw the two darts in the same box as the dart left from the previous turn.

* For each arrow in the right number (doesn't have to be right box); whole other group takes a sip of a drink. This happens a lot...

On top of that:
* If the box of the last arrow of the other is a single then two darts in the same box means one of the persons in the other group with the most clothes on has to remove one item of clothing (2 socks/shoes=1).

* If that box is a double; one arrow in that box will do for one item to be removed, 2 arrows is two items (two next persons of the other group each one item).

** Bull: entire other group takes a whole drink.
** Bullseye: each person of other group removes one item of clothing and takes a whole drink.

Missing the dart board: remove one item of clothing yourself and take a drink.

Try it; it's really a lot of fun!! :o)

PS: you can decide how far you'll go with the clothing, to make people more comfortable ;o) (But you'll experience that decission might change when people have had some drinks)

Darts maintaince

lots of thoughts on this but here's mine.

Darts are easy to look after,  the flights or shafts might get damaged, or the points might become blunt or bent.

My advice, just replace them.
You can try fixing them,  but really is it worth loosing a game because you tried to save a few $$'s on a flight??

The only ones that do require a bit of work are hard tip darts

KEEP them sharp.
get a sharpened or some good grinding paper,  rub them up and down teh paper while always turning the dart to make sure the sharpening is even around the dart.


OH and try not to drop them in beer, or scotch.

Killer - darts game

Well, those who never heard of it.

Killer darts game is quite simple.
Everyoen picks a number usually by throwing with their wrong hand.
The object of the game is to hit the double (or Trebble) of your number 3 times to become a killer
Then once you are a killer, you can start hitting other peoples double. 
basically if you get back to 0 marks against your name your out.
You can never have more than 3, and you must have 3 to become a killer.

The person left standing is the winner.

You can play with a handy cap as well,  if tehre is a good darts player he must hit trebbles while everyone else can hit doubles.
